New year’s concert will not be a one-time event
At the general meeting of the "eintracht" mixed choir untersiemau in the protestant community center, choir director sven gotz was very pleased with his choir's performance last year. The choir leader was satisfied with the fact that the choir will certainly grow a little older each year, but each member will do his best.
Very well received on 26. January for the first time presented new year concert. Therefore, a concert at the beginning of the year will be organized again next year. At the moment the choir has started rehearsals for the song evening in may, where we can again look forward to some guest choirs.
In his greeting, mayor rolf rosenbauer (CSU) praised the klangkorper for the well put together and emotional program of the new year's concert at the salvatorkirche. The musical offer deserved to be repeated for those who missed it. But for these there is a new offer in the coming year. He still remembers the piece with alphorn and piano particularly well, said the burgermeister.
In her review, chairwoman edeltraud obermuller reported that the association currently consists of 36 active and 41 passive members. She recalled the numerous performances in 2018. This included, among other things, round birthdays or anniversaries, church or community commitments as well as the song and honor evening in the school. Once again, the annual two-day trip together with the burgerverein – this time to the bavarian forest and regensburg – left behind many fond memories. At the collection of baskets for the memorial in melkendorf, 71.50 euros were collected at the meeting.
The most eager singers were again rewarded with a glass of untersiemauer honey. In total, there were 54 events last year (41 choir rehearsals and 13 performances). Herbert morgenroth, kathe sporl (absent only four times); friedrich heidenreich, helga schmidt, gudrun schroedel, anneliese bracklein (three times); roswitha carl, sonja koch, karin trommer, karin laubmann and edeltraud obermuller (twice); helga pistor (once). Karl sporl and gerhard wunsch were present at all the engagements.
At the end, obermuller handed out lists of 35 projects for the coming year, some of which will be covered by the chairwoman or the entire choir. These included the song and tribute evening on 11. May; two-day trip on 14./15. September to the erzgebirge; kirchweih hospitality on 12. Until 14. October; new year's concert in january.
